和一對在旅途中新認識的夫婦在參觀羅馬萬神殿後，在附近的商店逛逛。當天因為是義大利的兒童節，所以很多當地人都全家一起出門逛街，萬神殿前面的廣場擠滿了人、車子、和賣假名牌皮件的小販。對於久居鄉下的我們，已經很久沒有看到這種擁擠混亂的場面了。
吃過了義大利冰淇淋後，就看到著名的金杯咖啡-La Casa del Caffe Tazza D'Oro。咖啡店的一邊是烘焙咖啡豆，濃郁的咖啡香味，讓人就想當場掏錢買這些新鮮烘焙的咖啡豆。當然，買的時候我又問了一個傻問題，有沒有低咖啡因的咖啡豆，當然沒有。義大利人認為一天數杯的Expresso咖啡，讓他們攝取足夠的咖啡因，所以講話多又快，手勢很多，開車可以和台灣計程車一樣快。咖啡店的另一半就是賣咖啡，吧台前面都是用站的。他們的咖啡真的是特別好喝，香濃甘醇。在義大利，我唯一喝到不好喝的咖啡是在羅馬國際機場的自動販賣機。
因為是假日，所以很多餐廳都沒有開。我們在萬神殿附近找了一家小吃店簡單的用完午餐。雖說是簡單的午餐，前菜、一盤麵和一杯酒，也要花個將近兩個鐘頭。飯後，逛進人潮比較少的小巷，遇到這家以木製手工玩具店Bartolucci。店裡面陳售許多小孩子的玩具和兒童房間飾品，材質都是木頭的，樸拙可愛，但是價格不便宜，所以我們只能買了一些鑰圈，是貓咪穿著各種不同的義大利制服。
Bartolucci外面有一個小隔間是一個木匠在製作玩具。場景就好像小木偶奇遇記的故事一樣。
Regarding the first paragraph exactly! This is precisely what I love about this Phillies team. Would the past few years have been as fun without 7 down with 17 to go? Or the 2 game 4 comebacks against Broxton? Or get me to the plate, boys against Colorado? The Phillies, at their best, know how to pull out wins when they have no business winning a ballgame. I know they dont have the big scores yet to show it, and only time will tell, but I really think these kinds of games are helping to put them back on track. They thrive on situations like this.
Wheels' hp- If past posting counts for anything Undo will be MIA should the Phillies overtake the Braves. Unless his silence during the Braves 9 game losing streak earlier in the season was an anomaly. Good luck in finding a Braves blog of any substance that's why Undo claims to be posting here.
Good on ya, Steve! I hate knee jerk reactions in any industry, ESPECIALLY in the wine industry! I dont shop at BevMo because there is not one close by, but when there was one near where I used to live, I would go in from time to time and usually ended up purchasing SOMETHING.

But old George spoke from the heart, and believed what he said, and really, he actually did what he said he was going to do, even if it wasnt popular, yet necessary for our country. Obama speaks as someone reading something. There is no belief in it, no conviction. Just empty words. And he doesnt do what he says. His think tank says just say it and they will buy into it, like they did with change, change, change. But I think America has learned now, as to what a snake oil salesmen he is.
Oh, of course, if he was genuinely created proper at this point why isn't going to he give us a start certificates?
