應該是2000年的時候吧，J和我決定不看廣播電視了，也就是不訂閱有線電視，也沒有看無線的電視節目。當初會這樣做，是因為每個月的有線電視費用不便宜，想省錢。沒有天天看電視的習慣後，每天就多出一兩個鐘頭可以作自己的事，比如說看書，上網。
家裏還是有電視，但就只是打電視遊樂器和看DVD電影而已。喜歡看的電視影集，可以在半年後的DVD看到，而且可以集中一次把整季都看完。
到現在已經六年了，雖然不看廣播電視可以得到自由安排個人時間，不用天天粘在電視前，但是好像上網的時間增加許多，有一點變成天天黏在電腦前。
還有一個好處是家裏安靜和輕鬆多了，沒有電視的噪音。
有一個國際運動叫做White Dot，是一個電視關機運動，重新回覆以前沒有電視的生活步調。White Dot就是取名電視關掉時候螢幕中間的那個白點。4月24日到4月30日是關電視周，你要不要試試看家裏的電視關機一個星期？
We watched Threes Company when we were kids too.shame on you mom and dad! Just kidding. All told he did 7 different TV series. He was definitely a prolific talent. Makes me want to get all those old flicks on Netflix again and watch them.

And yeah, Im super pissed off about the game times, too. It really is all about money and its total bullshit. I remember when the divisional series was in its early years and all games were in prime time. The local market game was on Fox and the other game was on FX. But having two games on at the same time does not allow networks to max out advertising dollars, so yes, we get the national shaft once again.
A personal favourite of mine is Day of the Dead. Predictable maybe, but I think its underrated. Some genuine scares, quality special effects, the Greatest Zombie Ever in Bub, and some truly dark and unsettling images of zombie carnage at the end of the film. Day might just be my favourite Romero zombie film.
